Product Review August 15, 2018
Reviewer: John Ristaino from Boerne, TX
Works until corrosion sets in at the battery terminals or on the control board itself: in my case it was both. Bought another unit and used an ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTIVE PASTE on the battery terminals to prevent corrosion. I have not found a way to prevent control board corrosion due to weather conditions such as humidity or condensation. Others have complained that the wired option implies that the unit does not need the 3 AA batteries -- unit does require the 3 AA batteries regardless of wired or wireless configuration. Per instructions: NOTE: For a hard-wired application the 318 MHz RF transmitter is automatically disabled.

ordering very easy and parts always delived in a timely manner.

am wondering why all my gate parts only last a year or two. Sometimes the gate doesn't get opened for days, so I don't think the parts are being overused.
