The FM150 is the replacement battery for the following Mighty Mule gate openers: FM500/502, FM700/702, MM-SL1000B, and MM-SL2000B.  Each battery is 12 Volt, 7 amp-hour. This maintenance-free battery is the only battery approved for use with the gate operators listed. Life expectancy is 2-3 years.
(NOT for use with Mighty Mule FM250)

Seems ridiculous that Home Depot sells the exact same battery for $22 that MM charges $37. Rip off

The ordering is easy and parts were delivered on time. My only problem is having my gate system for a little over 2 years, I've had to replace the gate arm, battery and keypad. Is this normal? Have others had these same problems?

Fixed my problem.  even though the old battery tested at the correct amperage the gate open/close was not smooth.  Tech support had me check output from solar charger and determined that this was OK and told me battery was not hold ing amperage under load.  Replaced battery and everything is great.  Thanks Mighty Mule Tech Support.

Once again, the third time, I've purchased a new battery to power my Mighty Mule gate.  The gate functions quite well after more than 10 years in service and the folks at Mighty Mule have been most helpful when I did experience problems with my gate, problems of my own making, from time to time.  Kudos to you all!
