Just purchased a MM560 that replaced a 10 year old Mighty Mule that died. This new opener has very poor reception. The old opener would work with the remote from 100 feet away. This new MM560 requires me to hold my remote out of the car window from 5 to 10 feet away. Batteries in my remote are brand new. I think the quality of these are going down hill.

Horrible product, even worse customer support.  My opener is right at 1 year old.  Every major component has been replaced at least once at my own expense( main board, both arm boards, then both arms, 3 sets of dual batteries). Every time I call for tech support it is at least an hour hold time to speak to anyone, and no matter what pattern of beeps the gate is giving, the stock answer is “ it’s a voltage issue”.  Now I have 3 sets of dual batteries that are fine, but can’t be returned, but work fine. The solar panel purchased with the unit was removed and replaced with direct current which cost around $1000, because technician stated that the units “aren’t really designed for solar use”.   This company will nickle and dime a customer to death.  I am now just $72 less in replacement parts than the entire unit cost. Before you ask about the warranty...... the 18 month warranty only provides you the right to call tech support to be told whatever the issue is, is your fault.

Easy to install since parts and directions came with it. Shipping cost with the extra time it took to Hawaii was a problem

Works like it should except wind the wind blows more that 8 miles an hour ( it always blows more than 8 miles an hour in the Texas panhandle.) I don't like the fact that  the description does not mention anything about  simply removing two pins by hand and someone can steal the opener. (  locks are sold separately.)
