I purchased this product at Tractor Supply.(same price ) I built a 9'wide by 7' tall wooden gate for access under my deck, after enclosing all of it. I already had the underdecking completed so rain would not get in. This is a push to open application. It took me a fairly long time to get the positioning correct. I had issues with the push bracket . I could close it all the way or open it all the way , but, I could not do both. Realizing that this was not a usual application, I kept looking at it and finally took the bracket off and mounted the arm right on the main bracket assembly....It works perfect now. Installing the automatic gate lock now. This really made this project come together wondefully. I really like the MM360 and am glad I made the purchase. Some times you just have to sit back and think about it with fresh eyes again to get it right. I used the transformer that came with it to hook into 110v to recharge the battery. This is a very nice system. I will add a photo to this post in the next few days.

It works. Not much finesse in its operation. Soft stop would be nice. For the price though, not a bad product. Be interesting to see how long it lasts.

This gate opener is awesome! March 14, 2017

After some engineering we got this installed on my brothers chainlink fence/gate? It works really well and it opens smooth and the remote works from his house, which is like 100ft away. I recommend this gate opener but I bought the mighty mule solar panel to hook up to power this and also I was going to hardware it in, but after buying this and the solar panel separately I read that it could only be hooked up to one OR the other so for anyone thinking about hooking this up to solar and hard wired it won't work, you have to choose one or the other
